William Carvalho To Turn Down Arsenal For Sporting Lisbon Stay
Reports are out claiming that Sporting CP midfielder William Carvalho is happy with the progress of new contract talks. The defensive midfielder has been linked with Arsenal as negotiations over new terms drag on. But the Portugal international insists he won't push to leave Sporting in January. 'I spoke with the president about the situation and hope it is settled as soon as possible,' said Carvalho. 'If it will all be done in a peaceful way? Yes.'
