Arsenal Lining Up Surprise Move For Crystal Palace Star James McArthur
It has been revealed that Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a surprise move for Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur. According to HITC Sport, the Gunners may attempt sign McArthur in January as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his midfield stocks following Francis Coquelin's long-term injury. The Scottish international signed a contract extension with the Eagles this summer, but has caught the attention of a number of other clubs with his impressive performances for Palace this campaign. Arsenal are also believed to be considering German Lars Bender and Portuguese duo William Carvalho and Ruben Neves as cover for Coquelin.
