Arsenal Icon Admits Receiving Offer From Latvia
It has been reported that former Arsenal and Celtic striker Charlie Nicholas has revealed he was offered the Latvia job. Nicholas admits he considered management when he first hung up the boots. He told Sky Sports: 'I considered management in the early days. I've been offered four or five jobs. 'The main ones were Barnet and I was approached by Latvia after Gary Johnson had been there… By the time the Latvia job came up, I was well into my punditry and my family were settled so I decided against. 'So I still haven't lost a game!'
