[Video] Giroud heads home potentially massive goal for Arsenal v Olympiacos
We needed an early goal against Olympiacos in order to calm our nerves, and after a slightly dodgy start we began to grow into the game. We started putting some great passages of play together, and Olivier Giroud finally broke the deadlock. Mesut Özil looked as though he was going to be involved in any goals, and it was his pass that created the chance. He put a fantastic ball down the left for Nacho Monreal, who raced into space and onto the ball. He put a superb cross into the box for Olivier Giroud, who powered a header goalwards.
