Manchester United planning 70m approach for Chelsea transfer target
According to reports, Louis van Gaal is planning to make a 70m approach to bring Everton and England centre-back John Stones to Manchester United. The Daily Star [via Le 10 Sport] report that the Dutch coach is desperate to turn things around at Old Trafford, and sees defender Stones as a key figure as he looks to add the finishing touches to his United squad.
