Arsene Wenger admits Arsenal are short and open to January transfer deals

Arsene Wenger says Arsenal are 'open-minded' about completing their transfer business early on in January. The Gunners are understood to be on the lookout for a defensive midfielder in next month's market, with Francis Coquelin sidelined until the end of February with a knee ligament injury. With the likes of Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck also on the sidelines, Wenger admits his squads need reinforcements.
