Arsenal could be forced to sign players in January, says Wenger

During this morning's press conference ahead of the top of the table clash with Manchester City at the Emirates on Monday night, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted that he may be forced to bring in new players during the January transfer window to help bolster a squad that has been ravaged by injuries. 'We are open minded,' declared the Frenchman (via the Daily Mirror). 'We are not the only ones who can decide about the speed of the transfers. 'We have to adapt to the availabilities and the speed of negotiations and the willingness of clubs to sell. 'But we are willing because we are short.'
