REUTERS ALL GUNS BLAZING: Olivier Giroud celebrates Arsene Wenger's troops recorded a 2-1 victory over Manuel Pellegrini's side thanks to first-half strikes from Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud to narrow the gap between themselves and league leaders Leicester to two points. The contest, which was the final league game before Christmas, started at a slow pace and neither side managed to impose their will on their opponents. The visitors, who went into the tie on the back of a 2-1 victory over Swansea, picked things up midway through the first period and began to dictate the game. But they failed to create any clear-cut chances and were restricted to pot-shots from outside the area....
