Influential Arsenal star has yet to enter contract extension talks
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has revealed that he hasn't started contract discussions with the club but is happy at the Emirates. The German international has been in great form so far this season having registered 15 assists already, and that in turn has helped the Gunners move to within two points of current Premier League leaders Leicester City. However, with his current deal set to expire in 2018, much has been made of the lack of contract talks but Ozil remains calm about the situation and has no intention of leaving London anytime soon. “There is no rush to sign a new contract,' he told Kicker, as reported by The Independent.
