[Video] Arsenal line-up £29m Portuguese enforcer, and it’s not Carvalho

Forget all the talk surrounding a bid for Sporting midfielder William Carvalho, as Arsenal have a new Portuguese based midfield enforcer in mind to solve their injury problems. According to Portuguese football newspaper O Jogo (via the Daily Mirror), the Gunners have turned their attention to Porto ace Danilo Pereira. Arsenal were considering making a bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho, before the 23-year-old broke his tibia during last summer's European Under-21 championships, which appeared to kill off any chance of a move (via N).
