Merson Predicts Ozil To Inspire Arsenal To A Victory Against Southampton
It has been reported that Arsenal legend Paul Merson has predicted that Mesut Ozil will inspire the Gunners to a victory against Southampton on Boxing Day. Former Gunners great Merson believes that the North London club will claim a 3-1 victory at St. Mary's Stadium to maintain their title favouritism. He writes in his weekly prediction column for Sky Sports: 'For Arsenal, these are the games that win you the league titles and without a doubt Mesut Ozil is in the form of his Arsenal career right now. 'He's always been top drawer, but now the others are starting to get on his wavelength, and I'm backing them to win again here.'
