Blow for Arsenal as Arsene Wenger rules Alexis Sanchez out of the North London Derby
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alexis Sanchez will not return in time for the crucial North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Alexis has been nursing a hamstring injury since the FA Cup win over Brighton & Hove Albion and it was thought that the injury was a minor one, with the boss deciding not to risk him for the 5-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); However, it seems that the injury hasn't cleared up and Wenger says that the Chilean will return in the midweek fixture against Leicester City at the earliest.
