Arsenal To Face Newcastle Competition For Bordeaux Winger Henri Saivet
It has been reported that Bordeaux winger Henri Saivet is attracting major Premier League interest. The Evening Chronicle reported that the 25-year-old Senegal international is on Newcastle's radar and may join the club when the transfer window opens next week. Saviet can play out wide or in the centre of midfield, where he has been operating with the Ligue 1 side this season as their captain. The player has been scouted by Everton and Stoke City this year and also attracted interest from Swansea City and Southampton. But he has impressed chief scout Graham Carr on his scouting missions to France and the Magpies are ready to bolster their engine room.
