Video: Arsenal 2-0 Bournemouth – Mesut Ozil goal seals win, gives Gunners star leg up on MVP race
Prior to the week the sense was that one of Leicester City's star scorers, either Riyad Mahrez or Jamie Vardy, might be runaway favorites to win the Premier League Player of the Season award. But after Mesut Ozil systematically picked apart Bournemouth on Monday, it's clear that the Arsenal winger is on the shortlist along with them. Earlier in the game Ozil made one of the best corners a player can possibly make, kicking the ball straight into Gabriel's forehead and into the goal. But it was the second half that essentially sealed the 2-0 win for the Gunners with Ozil taking a pass from Olivier Giroud and converting it into the lead-doubling score.
