Arsenal grateful for Petr Cech heroics after narrow win over Newcastle
Arsenal remain atop the table as Laurent Koscielny propelled his side 1-0 past a resilient Newcastle United. Arsenal edged to a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at the Emirates on Saturday thanks to a scrappy goal from Laurent Koscielny. After a busy festive period, the Gunners looked somewhat insipid for most of the game, but were able to grab a goal to snatch a vital three points.
