Southampton Eyeing Arsenal Target Henri Saivet
It has been revealed that Southampton are threatening Newcastle United's deal for Bordeaux midfielder Henri Saivet. The Daily Star Sunday revealed that Toon are hopeful of tying up a £3.5million deal for the Senegal star who plays wide or in the centre of midfield. But Saivet, 25, fancies a move to the south coast, where Bournemouth are also interested. The Cherries – along with Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Swansea – watched Saivet strike a brilliant goal in Bordeaux's 2-1 Europa League defeat at Liverpool last month.
