Arsenal ready to sign Schalke star following halt in contract talks
Arsenal are considering a move to sign Roman Neustadter after a stall in his contract talks with Schalke, according to reports from Bild. The 28-year-old has also attracted interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan as they look to join the Gunners in the race for his signature. Neustadter will see his current contract with the Bundesliga outfits expire at the end of this season, but his club are still trying to convince him to extend his stay. If manager Arsene Wenger agrees a deal for the services of the defender, Schalke will be losing their second player on a possible free transfer to the Premier League.
