The Leicester midfielder has been told that he will start at least one of England's two warm-up games against Germany in Berlin and Holland at Wembley over Easter, as Hodgson finalises his plans for the summer. The 26 year old, yet to win a senior cap for his country or even be named in a squad until yesterday, has had an outstanding season in a Leicester team that has shocked the Premier League and now look favourites to land the title.
