Arsenal cleared to buy £39.5m striker after Real Madrid get their money back
With Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez struggling to score over the last few weeks, Arsenal have found themselves sorely in need of a dominating striker. Luckily for them, a solid option in the form of Juventus star Alvaro Morata could be on the market for them. According to AS, Morata's former club Real Madrid are looking to buy back their ex-striker from Juventus for around £23.5 million and then sell him to Arsenal at a markup for £39.5 million. Morata has 10 goals for Juventus in all competitions this year and Arsenal were speculated to be interested in a transfer move for him during the January transfer window.
