Arsenal's Alex Iwobi recovers from food poisoning, 'ready' for Nigeria debut

Arsenal attacker Alex Iwobi has said that he is "ready" to make his international debut when Nigeria take on Egypt on Friday. The 19-year-old was taken to hospital with food poisoning earlier today and was a doubt for the Super Eagles' African Cup of Nations qualifier as a result. However, having chosen Nigeria over England, the youngster has revealed that he has now recovered and is ready to make his first competitive appearance at international level.
