Arsenal have scouted Borussia Monchengladbach’s Granit Xhaka an incredible 30 times this season as they prepare to spend big on a midfielder, according to The Mirror. The Mirror reports that Arsene Wenger has had representatives watch the Switzerland international on a weekly basis ahead of sanctioning a £30million summer swoop. Wenger is notoriously stingy with Arsenal’s money and has only spent more than £30m on two players – Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil – fees confirmed by The Express.
