Arsene Wenger adds to growing calls for Arsenal ace to feature at Euro 2016
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that it is important Jack Wilshere is included in England's squad for Euro 2016 this summer. The 24-year-old has yet to feature for the Gunners this season after suffering a fractured ankle in pre-season last summer, but is nearing a return to action. With just eight games remaining in the Premier League, Wilshere faces a race against time not only to prove his fitness, but also to show Roy Hodgson that he has recovered sufficiently to make his mark in France rather than merely just make up the numbers.
