Arsenal handed boost in chase for Borussia Dortmund playmaker

Borussia Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly begun house hunting in London amid suggestions he could be on his way to Arsenal this summer, according to The Sun. The hugely talented Armenian midfielder is said to have told close friends he is ready to leave Germany after three years at Signal Iduna Park. His contract is due to expire in 2017 and he is alleged to have rejected an improved offer of around £6.4m a year to stay in Dortmund. Instead, it is claimed the 26-year old will demand a whopping £8m a year to move to the Emirates in a blockbuster summer deal.
