Arsenal legend watches Jack Wilshere make Arsenal comeback with 65 minutes in 3-1 victory

Jack Wilshere made his long-awaited return from injury for Arsenal’s U21s tonight and managed 65 minutes as Newcastle United’s U21s were beaten 3-1. The midfielder had not played since scoring twice in England’s 3-2 win over Slovenia in June, after breaking his leg on the eve of the Community Shield. It was the latest setback of the 24-year-old’s injury-plagued career, which has seen him sidelined on 19 different occasions in six years, the Daily Mail claims.
