Andy Carroll scored a hat-trick at Upton Park
The Gunners could only take a point despite holding a two-goal lead closing in on half time. But Carroll, who should have been sent off for a wild tackle on Laurent Koscielny after three minutes, secured an incredible comeback for the Hammers who had been 0-2 down inside 35 minutes. Carroll could even have gone again at the start of the second half with an elbow on Gabriel. He then put them ahead with another header as Michail Antonio flew down the wing before Koscielny’s equaliser. In reality a point does neither side any good as Arsenal fall further behind Leicester and Tottenham and West Ham lose ground on the Champions League...
