Özil named on PFA Player of the Year shortlist alongside Tottenham & Leicester stars
Mesut Özil is one of the six players nominated for the PFA Player of the Year this season, with the German international named alongside players from West Ham, Tottenham, and Leicester City, as reported by Sky Sports. The World Cup winner deserves his place, but is facing stiff competition from Harry Kane, N'Golo Kante, Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, and Dimitri Payet.
