International midfielder tipped for imminent Arsenal return

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is on the brink of a return to Arsene Wenger‘s first team, according to reports. The Mirror note that the 24-year-old featured for the Gunners' U-21 side for 90 minutes in their bout against Swansea City on Thursday, as he continues his comeback trail. Wilshere has missed the entirety of the campaign to date after injuring himself at the beginning of the season, but having returned to first-team training, he is steadily improving his match fitness with showings for the North London giants' youth team.
