Wilshere nears injury setback as he closes on return

Jack Wilshere is closer to suffering an injury setback after Arsene Wenger said he may be considered for first-team action soon. Wilshere has not played a single minute of Arsenal's season after suffering a broken leg in pre-season, with the midfielder's recovery taking far longer than expected. The 24-year-old has been ‘three to four weeks away' from returning for around three to four months, but manager Wenger says he is closing on a comeback. Wilshere played the full 90 minutes of an under-21 game against Swansea earlier this week, and could be considered for the first team if he can complete another game.
