Man City, Tottenham To Do Battle For Mikel Arteta
It has been revealed that Arsenal skipper Mikel Arteta is at the centre of a tug-of-war. The Sun claims that Tottenham and Manchester City are jostling to sign Arteta — as a coach. The Spanish midfielder, 34, is firmly into the autumn of his career and is widely considered to have the potential to be an outstanding coach. Yet Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has shown now indication he will bring the club captain onto his coaching team despite his contract expiring this summer That indecision has alerted Premier League giants Spurs and Manchester City, whose managers have both crossed paths with Arteta.
