Wenger shocked by foul abuse from Arsenal fans, but he really shouldn't be
Arsene Wenger was subject to some serious abuse in the wake of our 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace this past weekend, and the manager was apparently shocked at the level he was exposed to, as reported by the Mirror. He really shouldn't be though, as the game against the Eagles demonstrated precisely what fans have been so angry about over the last several years. Wenger was apparently told to 'f**k off' among other expletives following the game, and the vicious nature of the abuse bizarrely surprised him.
