Arsenal star Danny Welbeck may miss England's Euro 2016 campaign with knee injury

GETTY Danny Welbeck has made 11 Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season The Arsenal striker will have a scan tomorrow to assess the extent of the injury to his right knee he suffered early in today's 2-2 draw with Manchester City. With England boss Roy Hodgson naming his provisional squad on Thursday it is a serious concern for Welbeck, who missed most of the season with an injury to his other knee. And Gunners boss Arsene Wenger did not sound hopeful tonight, revealing that Welbeck was in pain at half-time and fearing the worst from what could prove a torn cartilage.
