Arsenal's first summer signing is a done deal, say reports from Germany

Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee We've been continually linked with Borussa Monchengladbach's Granit Xhaka over the last few transfer windows, and reports from German publication Sport1 claim the deal is now all but over the line. The Swiss international looks set to leave the Bundesliga this summer, with Monchengladbach hoping to earn £34m from his sale (via Sky). Arsene Wenger is sure to be trying to knock the price down, but whatever the fee, the deal is apparently already done. The report suggests the transfer fee, his wages, and even the agent fees have all been agreed, with all that remains is for the transfer window to finally open.
