Arsenal star out NINE MONTHS, will miss Euro 2016 and most of 2016-17 season

A big blow has been dealt to Roy Hodgson's England team and Arsene Wenger's Arsenal team this year as Danny Welbeck is expected to miss more than half a year to recover from a major surgery. According to the Metro, Arsenal FC stated today that Welbeck been ruled out for nine months to undergo surgery on his injured knee, which could sideline him for the rest of 2016 at the very least. He will miss Euro 2016 and the majority of the 2016-17 season as well if the estimate holds true. Welbeck injured his knee last weekend against Manchester City, and the resulting tests and scans of the injury revealed ‘significant cartilage damage' that required immediate surgery.
