Huge blow as Arsenal star ruled out for 9 months with injury
Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee We were all waiting to find out the details of Danny Welbeck's knee injury, and it's now been confirmed by Arsenal that he'll be out for nine months following surgery. The former Manchester United man has been struggling with a knee injury since April 2014, missing the end of last season and most of this one as a result. He's once again in a similar position, with an injury sustained against Manchester City proving to be worse than first thought. Danny Welbeck has had surgery to his right knee.
