Welbeck injury will see Arsenal boss step up chase for Spanish striker

Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee The news that Danny Welbeck is set for a nine month spell on the sidelines is a real blow, but it is apparently set to spur Arsene Wenger on in his hunt for a new striker, according to the Mirror. A number of forwards have been linked with a move to the Emirates in recent times, but the report suggests Alvaro Morata and Mauro Icardi are Wenger's top targets. Morata has dropped down the pecking order at Juventus a little, with Paulo Dybala shining brightest with the Serie A champions.
