Hodgson announces England squad: Man United prodigy makes it, Arsenal star axed

Roy Hodgson has announced England's provisional 26-man squad for the European Championship in France this summer. The squad will play Turkey and Australia in warm-up friendlies before Hodgson names his final 23-man squad on May 31st. They'll then play another friendly against Portugal ahead of the tournament's official opening date – June 10th. England regulars Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck have both missed out through injury, with the latter expected to be sidelined for the next nine months.
