All eyes were on the Manchester United teen before the match as he made his first start for his country. And he made an immediate impression after just 135 seconds. Raheem Sterling ran clear down the left and his deflected cross was met on the volley by Rashford from from eight yards for his first goal in international football. He became the youngest England player to score on his debut and he nearly got a second but a poor first touch meant the opportunity was lost.
