Arsenal make stunning £20m move to sign Leicester record-setter

Arsenal have made a move to meet Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy’s release clause and are willing to pay £20 million to land the England international this summer, according to The Guardian. The former non-league attacker created quite the stir in 2015-16 by breaking Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive Premier League games and was a key man in the Foxes becoming shock English champions. Vardy is set to feature for England in this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament and is currently regarded as one of the most feared strikers in English football.
