Arsenal to land Jamie Vardy on big-money contract in next 24 hours
Speculation is continuing to suggest that Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is on the verge of signing for Arsenal in a £20m deal, with a huge contract offer said to be on the table. As noted by various media outlets on Friday, the Gunners had reportedly triggered the £20m release clause in the England international's contract. In turn, they would then be open to discuss personal terms with the striker, and according to Football Insider, they are set to offer him a deal worth £120,000 per week.
