Arsenal to follow Jamie Vardy move with swoop for another title-winning Leicester hero
Leicester City’s title-winning team is in danger of being ripped apart as Arsenal reportedly plot to follow up their swoop for Jamie Vardy by moving for Riyad Mahrez. According to The Sun, the Gunners have met Vardy’s £20m release clause and the England international striker underwent a medical at London Colney over the weekend. And The Sun reports that Arsenal are now in talks to bring Mahrez to the Emirates to play alongside another hero of Leicester’s fairytale Premier League triumph.
