Arsenal star gives sign that he is ready to shoot down Barcelona advances

Hector Bellerin, now a long-term Barcelona target, looks likely to sign a new contract with Arsenal and perhaps quash any rumours that he is likely to return to Spain. Reported by John Cross in the Daily Mirror, it looks possible that Arsenal will offer Bellerin a new deal this summer despite the fact his current contract has three years left to go before expiry. Barcelona's continued interest in their former full-back is of concern to the Gunners, who will be very wary of losing Bellerin in a similar way that they saw Cesc Fabregas leave.
