Release clause now live, will Arsenal activate it? Payet stunner spares France blushes..
Morning all. What a peach of a goal that was from Payet last night. Just as it looked like France would drop two points on the opening day of the Euros, up popped the little Frenchman with a stunning strike from distance to win the game. See, that's what can happen Arsene when players are given the freedom to take a chance. Rosicky used to, Santi too and when Elneny arrived, he too would have a pop at goal but was soon told to pack it in. Such a shame really and wrong too as so often our extra pass gets blocked or intercepted and the attack fails. Ollie opened the scoring for the home nation and now everybody loves him again but I suspect it won't be long before the French fans turn on him...
