The first games of the season will take place on the weekend of 13/14 August. It is the first season of a new domestic TV broadcast deal that sees Sky Sports and BT Sport pay a combined £5.1billion for broadcast rights over the next three years. Friday night matches will also be screened. The top four will likely be fiercely contested this season and a number of clubs have changed their managers over the summer. Manchester United hope the appointment of Jose Mourinho can catapult them into a title challenge, while Italy head coach Antonio Conte will be at Chelsea's helm come opening day.
