Arsenal eye £24m Primeira Liga striker with more goals than Jamie Vardy
Arsenal have turned their attention to Sporting CP striker Islam Slimani in the aftermath of their failure to land Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy. According to the Metro via A Bola, Slimani has become a transfer target for Arsenal, and the Gunners could try to trigger his release clause of £24 million. Per the source, Slimani was a target for Arsenal even before they submitted the offer for Leicester City's star striker.
