Former Arsenal captain confirms news role with Premier League rivals

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that he will join up with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, taking up a coaching role as of next season. The Spaniard joined the Gunners in 2011 from Everton, going on to make over 100 Premier League appearances and being appointed as captain by Arsene Wenger. However, with his contract expiring this summer, he opted to call time on his playing career and embark on a path in coaching.
