Roma planning to extend loan deal for Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny

GETTY STAYING PUT: Roma want to keep hold of Szczesny Italian media outlet Gazza Mercato say the Italian side want to extend the Polish goalkeeper's deal. They say Arsenal have no interest in bringing their former No.1 back to the Emirates and the report even suggests Roma could look to make the move permanent. Petr Cech is firmly embedded between the sticks for the Gunners and David Ospina looks likely to remain his backup for the time being. Szczesny struggled at Arsenal and came under fire after he was accused of smoking in the showers in January 2015. He's since tried to rebuild his career in Italy, and he's started 42 games for Roma over the last season. Related videos Granit Xhaka...
