Man United, Arsenal and rivals in transfer war for £50m German star
Just one year after making a big switch from Schalke to Wolfsburg, Julian Draxler is already being targeted by a trio of very wealthy Premier League clubs. According to the Express, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all interested in signing the creative German star – as are Serie A champions Juventus. Per the report, Wolfsburg – who bought Draxler for £25.5 million from Schalke last year – are demanding upwards of £50 million for him now. Draxler scored six goals in 23 Bundesliga matches for Wolfsburg – the second-highest total of his career after a superb 2012-13 season with 10 league and 13 total goals for Schalke.
