Petr Cech: 'Arsene Wenger has pedigree and quality for England job'

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has said that manager Arsene Wenger has the "pedigree and the quality" to become the next England boss. A whole host of names have been linked with the vacant post since Roy Hodgson stepped down in the wake of England's ignominious Euro 2016 exit at the hands of Iceland, with Wenger one of those mentioned. Some reports have claimed that the FA are willing to wait until the end of Wenger's contract at Arsenal next summer before making him an offer, but Cech believes that the 66-year-old is still committed to the Gunners.
