Arsenal scout recommends Wenger writes “blank cheque” for best midfielder in Serie A
Italian-based Arsenal scout Neil Banfield has said that he would recommend Arsene Wenger write a blank cheque to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho. In an interview on Italian radio, a very excited Banfield waxed lyrical about the 24-year-old Italian, describing watching him as a “pleasure for the eyes. He also suggested that Jorginho is the best midfielder currently in Serie A – a division which boasts the likes of Paul Pogba, Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan.
