Gunners to be blown out of water in fight for Serie A superstar

Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain is the subject of a 94million bid, just shy of £80million, from Juventus. That's according to Gazetta dello Sport, who claim the Serie A champions are keen to add their rival's star striker to the Old Lady's ranks. The Italian side have lost Alvaro Morata this summer and have identified Higuain as his replacement. Arsenal had made a player-plus-cash offer to Napoli, offering Olivier Giroud as part of the deal according to the Metro. But Napoli declined the offer, as well as turning down a similar move from Juve.
